Building a Stronger Agricultural Future for the Prosper Valley
The Prosper Valley Farmer Collective (PVFC) is creating a collaborative network of farmers, educators, community organizations, and local partners dedicated to strengthening agriculture in Woodstock, Barnard, Pomfret, and Bridgewater. Through shared resources, educational programs, market development, conservation initiatives, and innovative pilot projects, we help farms start, grow, and prosper while preserving the rural character of our region.
The projects highlighted below represent the building blocks of this vision—from farmer training and benchmarking programs to local food distribution, specialty crop development, and community-based agricultural innovation.
